Kibabii University played host to farmers, community leaders and industry players on Friday 3rd June, 2022 in the University. The meeting is an annual event focused at bridging the gap between the University and its stakeholders. This year, the event themed “Cohesive environment for sustainable business growth”, delved into various topics including National Values and Principles of Governance; Procurement Processes of Kibabii University; and Strategies for Business Start-ups.
Organized by the Community Outreach Committee, the workshop was officially opened by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Isaac Ipara Odeo.
In his address, Prof. Ipara illuminated on the importance of the
Institution in development within the neighbouring community.
“The University has contributed to the security, infrastructural development and growth of business opportunities. It is your duty to protect it for future generations to benefit”, he advised.
On the upcoming general elections, the Vice Chancellor urged for peace and coexistence across the political divide before, during and after elections.
